Radon mitigation

My home tested positive for radon. Now what?

Radon is very fixable. A mitigation system brings it down to safe levels, quietly, with pipes that can be painted to match your home.

Radon gas is a major threat to the health of families, and many people don’t realize it. After all, it’s colorless and odorless. If the radon level in your home is at a concerning level, there are ways to mitigate it.

How a mitigation system works

Radon mitigation collects concentrated radon from under the home and directs it out and away. The system is a series of pipes running from below your living space, up and out to the exterior of the home, with a fan that keeps it moving. Through this simple and effective system, the radon in your home is brought down to safe levels.

Part of the system is visible from outside. It’s designed to be discreet, and if you or your HOA are concerned about how it looks, the exposed pipe can be painted to match the exterior of the house. Peace of mind without an eyesore.

Mitigation by SHI Radon Services

Radon mitigation is done by our family’s dedicated radon company, SHI Radon Services: NRPP-certified, with every system installed by their own technicians. They also repair and certify existing systems, and offer free onsite estimates.

Don’t share your space with cancer-causing radon gas.
